Our
rental conditions (tenants)
The description and the photographs of a furnished apartment
forwarded to you, provide you with a detailed view of the accommodation,
as visited by us (and we visit all our accommodation before proposing it
for rental). However, on some occasions it can occur that the contents
or the furnishings of the apartment are slightly altered by the owner,
to improve comfort or safety, and this in no way jeopardises its rental.
The apartments proposed to you are intended for a maximum number of
occupants as indicated in our descriptions. You undertake not to
exceed this number. If it were to be observed that this number has been
exceeded, the rental would be terminated with immediate effect, and
without compensation.
If you are accompanied by a domestic pet, please indicate this in your
request. Some of our owners welcome animals. In this event, you
must provide precise details concerning the animal and obtain the
owner's agreement.
The monthly rates indicated in our proposals are net rates
for stays of less than 6 months (no agency fees to be added). Only
electricity, gas and telephone charges are invoiced separately. For
stays of over 6 months, the amount of the agency fee is not included in
the rental rates and, in this event, it is stated separately in our
proposals.
The guarantee deposit varies depending on the length of your stay
and the equipment in your apartment. It is stated in our proposals.
This guarantee deposit is collected by the owner.
It is reimbursed to you at the end of the stay (at the latest 30 days
after departure). The total amount of the guarantee deposit is returned
to you if no damage or loss has occurred in the accommodation you have
occupied, and if you have paid all amounts due to the owner. If this is
not the case, the owner will reimburse, within the same time scale, the
amount of the guarantee deposit remaining after deducting the costs of
repairs due to damage or the cost of replacement of lost items, as noted
in relation to the inventory taken on arrival, as well as any other
outstanding amounts.
You must have insurance (which should be contracted before
arrival), covering your civil liability when occupying the accommodation
you have rented (This insurance is obligatory for renting furnished
accommodation in France). You will have to show the corresponding
insurance certificate to the owner at the time of moving into the
apartment.
Furthermore, we advise you to take out insurance for your personal
belongings, luggage, jewellery and any items of value before arrival.
Charges for electricity, gas and telephone will be invoiced
generally in relation to your actual consumption. Meter readings will be
taken at the beginning and end of your stay to calculate your
consumption. If your stay lasts for 2 months or more, intermediate
reading will be taken for invoicing during your stay.
Some owners prefer to invoice these charges on a lump sum basis. In this
case, details are provided in the booking option document.
Cancellation on your part
In the event of cancellation on your part (confirmed by fax or by
registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt) occurring more than
two months before the start of your stay, the amounts which you would
have paid for the rental will be reimbursed. In other cases, amounts
paid relating to the cancelled rental remain the property of the
beneficiaries.
Some insurance companies offer cancellation protection insurance
policies. We advise you to contact your insurer.
Cancellation on the part of the owner
If, at any time, the owner is obliged for reasons of force majeure (*),
to cancel the booking you have made for his / her apartment, and if we
are unable to propose an apartment in the same category or in a higher
category, at the same terms as your initial booking, all amounts paid by
you will be reimbursed, without further indemnity.
(*) Fire, death, moving, major and forced unavailability of the
apartment.
Liability
3,2,1….International can not be held liable for any personal injuries to
the occupants or material damage (loss, theft, damage) occurring during
your stay in the furnished accommodation you have rented.
The person having rented the furnished accommodation is responsible for
the proper and decent behaviour of the occupants during their stay.
At the end of the stay, the furnished accommodation must be left in the
same condition as on arrival.
All disputes will be settled under French law and jurisdiction will be
that of the location of the accommodation.
